The Lord is doing a new thing in our lives and in the life of our community. On behalf of the Lord and the members of Brookfield United Methodist Church, thanks for visiting with us on-line.
I was appointed Pastor of Brookfield UMC in July of 2008. The church is committed to loving the Lord our God with all our hearts, minds, souls, and strength. We are also committed to fulfilling the mission that Jesus Christ has given His church—that of making disciples of all peoples.
I graduated from Girard High School in 1970 and then served four years in the US Navy. Upon discharge I worked for the Trumbull County Engineers, until I answered the Call to Ministry. I have been a Part-Time Local Pastor at United Methodist Churches in the Mahoning Valley District of the East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church up until coming to Brookfield UMC as a Full –Time Local Pastor.
I have a daughter, Katy who lives in Columbus Ohio with her husband, Justin. I am a diehard Cleveland Indians, Cavalier and Browns Fan. Hopefully that does not influence your visit to Brookfield UMC. (Steeler fans are welcomed and even encouraged to attend.)
We as a church have been looking at our church as a ship. The Captain is Jesus, God is the Creator and the wind in our sails is The Holy Spirit. We would welcome you to come aboard some Sunday to Worship God and have fellowship with all us shipmates.
If for any reason you need to contact me (Pastor Bill) you can do so by calling the church office at 330-448-1001, the church parsonage at 330-507-6086 or at
